My first proper go on my new Stonker Twin tip board, and my first go on a twin tip too.... It was so much easier than my old directional.

I was on the water by 5.30am, needless to say there was no one else around. I managed to get going straight away, and was soon under a fair amount of control, but still losing froound downwind. It felt a little weird driving with my front foor (smowboard style), but I was beginning to get the hang of it, and certainly in much more control than when on my directional. Although I started kite-surfing years ago, I have only been out a few times, and once again surprised myself by just how wasy this sport is.

The wind kicked in for a while and I was overpowered so I went out windsurfing for a while, but as it eased off I went back out with the kite, and this time was gainign loads of ground upwind and really enjoying the 'slidy' turns at either end.
